Webinars / Workshops / Trainings

Webinar: Innovative Femtosecond Lasers for Multiphoton Applications
(17.November, 10:00am)
In this webinar we will discuss the underlying physics involved in ultrashort femtosecond lasers and describe the benefits of pulses in the sub-50 fs regime. The advantages include unprecedented two-photon efficiencies and high peak powers, which can significantly improve the quality of results. Register.

Webinar:  Hands-On Superconducting Qubit Characterization
(22.November, 11:00am)
This webinar will introduce essential methods used in superconducting qubit characterization, including qubit spectroscopy, single-shot readout, and Rabi oscillation measurements. Through tutorials and demonstrations, we will lead you from theory to practical, experimental measurements that are carried out on real qubits in a dilution refrigerator. The webinar brings together device physics, instrumentation know-how, and software, which are all essential to realize state-of-the-art quantum experiments. Register.

Webinar:  Learn about high-temperature in-situ SEM testing
(22.November, 12:00pm)
Aerospace, energy, and other vital industry sectors rely on materials that can operate in extreme environments (e.g., high temperatures and pressures). By combining electron microscope imaging and in-situ high-temperature nano/micro-mechanical testing, Bruker's Hysitron PI 89 enables the exploration of highly localized properties in heterogeneous samples. Register.

Webinar:  STEM Imaging and Spectroscopy of Energy Materials
(06.December, 2:00pm)
This webinar will focus on recent developments in STEM-based characterization techniques of relevant battery and other energy materials. Particular attention will be paid to novel detectors and detection methods, real-time dose control, and chemical spectroscopy, all which enhance the efficiency and applicability of STEM characterization to energy materials. Register.
