Sarah received a PhD degree in Condensed Matter Physics from the Institute of Solid State of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Starting in 2006, she worked as a Research Associate at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and then continued her research at Northeastern University. In 2015, Sarah joined SUNY Polytechnic Institute as a Research Scientist. Her primary research focused on the fabrication of nanomaterial and semiconductor nanodevices, and characterization of optical, electrical, and chemical properties of said systems.
In February 2016, she joined cMDIS as a Process and Design Engineer. Her current job responsibilities include advancing the center’s processing capability as well as to assist, instruct, and advise facility users enabling them to achieve their research and teaching objectives.
