The cMDIS Academic Career Guidance Event was held on Wednesday 4 April 2018 at the Heffner Alumni House. 50 post-doctoral researchers and graduate students gathered for the panel discussion and dinner together.

We would like to thank the panelists for their insightful remarks on building an academic career: job search and interview processes, funding resources, managing a research group, teaching tips and balancing personal and professional life.
